The name of the cruise line was Chicago's First Lady but the speaker was part of the Chicago Architectural Foundation.

Marina Towers - one of my mom's favorite buildings as she recalls them being built when she was a child.

I can't recall the name of this building but I was so glad to have a moment of shade underneath it. It was nearly 90 degrees - hot and sticky!

The Willis Tower (aka Sears Tower).  I don't think I will ever get used to calling it that!

Another building I can't recall the name of -- in this one I love of the reflection of the other buildings, the sun and the curve it makes that mimics the curve of the river.
Oh, one more picture before I turn in - what is a Squirrel Box post without a few images of birds?

The photos are wonderful. I was imagining myself on the tip of the building. How scary :/
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Ashwini. It was a bit scary under them, as well. If you ever have a chance to visit Chicago, I highly recommend visiting the Willis Tower. They have installed glass boxes so you can step out 50+ floors up and stand outside the building and see the ground below your feet. It was scary and thrilling all at the same time!
