Thursday Photo Challenge: Exercise
This week's theme is "exercise".
My submission is a photograph of Magdalena Abakanowicz's sculpture titled "Agora". It is composed of 106 cast iron figures, each about 9 feet tall. I love it because walking among them reminds me of being a child - when I was so small that all I saw were legs.
Taken January 2009 in Grant Park, Chicago, Illinois.

That looks very cool !!!!
ReplyDeleteHave a nice Thursday :)
Thanks, I've lived in the Chicago area for most of my life but have just started exploring. There are so many sculptures around the city -- I had no idea!
ReplyDeleteIt took me a while to figure this out. It's really cool. The photograph is really nice as well. Art on art.
ReplyDeleteI really need to go back this spring and take pictures from within the sculpture. It is hard to gain perspective from this image.
DeleteI have to wonder -- am I violating copyright laws when I photograph sculptures?!?!?!
